Every year students attending about a dozen university field courses (and nearly twice as many high schools) offered by institutions in Ontario, Quebec and throughout the Maritimes make the pilgrimage to The Huntsman Marine Science Centre in beautiful St Andrews by-the-Sea to complete their all-inclusive field course activities.
Huntsman Marine Academy™
Huntsman Marine Academy™ offers life long learning connections to Huntsman educational programs – including Young Explorer Days & Weeks, Homeschool Ocean Exploration and Ocean S.T.E.A.M.™ for high school students. Each program provides a well deserved Certificate of Completion after the specific program requirements are completed.
Children & Families
We promise to not disappoint if you choose to spend your time during March Break or Summer Vacation with our engaging Huntsman education teammates as they provide you with age appropriate hands-on learning opportunities that promote better understanding of our marine and coastal environment.
Student Living
Visiting students are able to learn, eat and rest all within the Huntsman Marine facilities. We have several teaching labs, classroom spaces and lecture theatre to deliver content while our vessel provides access to sample the Bay of Fundy. We are able to house more than 100 individuals and prepare well over 10,000 hearty meals each year.
