Schools & Groups

Teachers and group leaders are able to enhance their students’ experience at the Huntsman Marine Science Centre with a hands-on program in our wet lab facilities that also includes entry to the Fundy Discovery Aquarium.

  • Age appropriate and engaging programs may connect to the New Brunswick curriculum with interactive activities, games, worksheets, and animal encounters. These programs provide students the essential hands-on experience they need to understand the delicate balance of the marine environment, preparing them to leave with a new appreciation of the oceans.

  • A more immersive marine learning experience is also offered for students in grades 8-12 from schools located in New Brunswick, as well as further afield but typically coming from Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Ontario and the Eastern US States.

Huntsman education programs are taught by our qualified and experienced teammates to match the grade, interest, and intensity of each class. Schedules may be accommodated with the classroom teacher or group leader to access low tide times when seasonably feasible.

We welcome you to explore our age appropriate marine science offerings within the tabs below. And, of course, book now to participate in our programs or reach out to plan your hands-on classroom experience together!
