The Huntsman Fundy Discovery Aquarium offers the only modern lecture hall in all of St. Andrews by-the-Sea to host symposia for up to 218 attendees with comfortable theatre seating, professional audiovisual equipment, translation booth and exclusive access to the underwater life of the Bay of Fundy!

St. Andrews has served as a resort community for generations and the Huntsman has been an integral part of this destination for over 50 years. Visiting St. Andrews today is as easy as completing a scenic drive from your choice of four major airports – 1.5 hours from Saint John, NB, 2 hrs from Fredericton, NB, 2.5 hours from Moncton, NB, or 2.5 hours from Bangor, ME, USA with international land crossing.

Upon arrival, your symposium will be a memorable experience in our Fundy Discovery Aquarium that is equipped with the state-of-the-art 218 seat Dunn Science Theatre within the most unique surroundings on the shores of the Bay of Fundy. Our Galleries also may be transformed to provide break out session spaces throughout the facility, lunch for your attendees and an evening reception or banquet ceremony.

For accommodations, St. Andrews is home to the Algonquin Resort – a 233 room Marriott Autograph Collection hotel – as well as numerous other accommodation options throughout our vibrant tourism focused community.

We are also excited to host your symposium participants, even if your meeting convenes at another location within St. Andrews, for a special event reception within the Fundy Discovery Aquarium to add a memorable experience for your guests.
