Huntsman owns about 11.5 hectares (28 acres) of prime land for development within its Upper Campus land holdings. The St. Andrews Town Council unanimously passed its Municipal Plan during a Special Meeting on 16-December-20, which designated this Huntsman property as an Institutional Growth Area to develop the Huntsman Ocean Park. This quantity of land provides a significant economic opportunity with up to 2,000 individuals employed by companies co-located within the Huntsman Ocean Park.
