Meeting Spaces

The heart for hosting corporate retreats or focused group meetings exists within the newly renovated Huntsman Professional Development Centre in Anderson House. Recent upgrades to this facility provides group dining, modern audiovisual capacity, and high speed WIFI internet access while overlooking the 9th Hole of the Algonquin Golf Course. The Anderson Gallery in the Fundy Discovery Aquarium also stands out as an exceptional venue to comfortably engage a slightly larger group of participants, especially during our tourism offseason, while providing a unique backdrop for your meeting. Huntsman also offers the 218-seat Dunn Science Theatre in the Fundy Discovery Aquarium for those wishing to retreat with significantly more friends and colleagues. Each of these spaces are also able to accommodate catering options for breaks, lunch and dinner exclusively provided by Huntsman Marine Hospitality.

Huntsman maintains a relationship with professional facilitators in the St. Andrews area who may be engaged to enhance the outcomes from your retreat.

Huntsman Marine Hospitality serves nearly 15,000 meals each year to satiate the appetite of students, visiting scholars and professionals alike. Hot and cold breakfast options, a variety of health break choices, buffet dinner menus and special dietary restrictions are available as we ensure your participants are well fed, both body and mind. Our venues are also licensed to provide opportunities for wine pairings or an after dinner social as you reflect on the day’s activities.

Activities

Huntsman Marine Experiences™ are curated to engage curious tourists and specific aspects of these experiences are equally suited for corporate retreat adventures! We suggest exploring Bay of Fundy marine life aboard the Huntsman R/V Fundy Spray, taking a guided walk on the seafloor with a Huntsman Naturalist followed by an informative lab session, or participating in a rope weaving workshop in support of a #DebrisFreeFundy. St. Andrews is also home to the historic but recently redesigned Algonquin Golf Course with its clubhouse located within a short walking distance from Anderson House. All of these activities are sure to provide inspiration, build team cohesion, and clear your mind.
