Exploring Unique Nature Preserves
in the Quoddy Region

May 7-12, 2023

The ‘Quoddy’ Region of the Bay of Fundy has some of the richest marine life on the east coast of Canada. During this immersive Huntsman Marine – Encounter with Nature™ we will explore three unique coastal nature preserves with guides and stewards from the Nature Trust of New Brunswick. We will also tour the Fundy Discovery Aquarium, explore microscopic life in the lab, weave items from repurposed fishing rope, and learn about research at The Huntsman Marine Science Centre.

This Huntsman Marine – Encounter with Nature™ is a partnership between the Nature Trust of New Brunswick and The Huntsman Marine Science Centre. Established in 1987, the Nature Trust of New Brunswick is a charitable land conservation organization that is responsible for conserving and stewarding more than 70 beautiful and diverse nature preserves throughout the province. The Huntsman Marine Science Centre is a non-profit charity that has been inspiring ocean stewardship through education and research since 1969.

Activity Level: This multi-day experience will be physically active requiring dexterity, nimbleness and fitness to hike the uneven trails and board the vessels.
