Anderson House Anderson House is our largest residence and was named in honour of Dr J. M. Anderson who had the vision for what is now the HMSC. A new annex to the building was created in 2011. The annex has 12 rooms, while Anderson House has eight rooms. In 18 of the rooms, there are two queen beds, the other two rooms have one queen bed. These also serve as 20 executive-style en suite rooms with 38 beds.
Dining facilities for all courses are located on the ground floor. There is also a comfortable lounge and working areas for residents. Laundry and shower facilities are located in the basement.
There is high-speed wireless connectivity throughout the building.
Needler Hall Needler Hall was named in honour of Dr. A. W. H. Needler who was our first Executive Director. The rooms have one, two, or three beds and a total of 43 people can be accommodated. Two and three bed rooms have two desks with reading lamps for private study. A "wet" entrance in the basement provides space for muddy boots and for wet field wear. Laundry facilities are available in the basement.
Moon Cottage (formerly Graduate Residence) The Graduate Residence is divided into two apartments. The lower one has three bedrooms with bunk beds. The upper one has two bedrooms. Both have kitchen and private bathroom facilities.
South Hall (formerly Stable House) The ground floor apartment has two bedrooms, each has two single beds.
Scott House (formerly Carriage House) Scott House contains two apartments. The lower apartment with three separate bedrooms, a large eat-in living room with kitchen area, and bathroom. The upper apartment is similar but with only two bedrooms.
