Join us in our charming seaside town for a learning retreat like no other!

Explore the natural diversity of the Passamaquoddy Bay in fall…when the changing of seasons inspires some of our marine life and birds to stay, while others vacate the region in search of warmer climates.

Highlights:

  • Guided kayaking tour
  • Beach walks in mixed habitats and intertidal zones
  • Yoga (two early morning classes)
  • Behind-the-Scenes tour of Fundy Discovery Aquarium
  • Whale watching
  • Ministers Island tour
  • Bird banding (identifying, tagging, and releasing native birds to assist with conservation of the birds and their habitats)
  • Culinary lessons: learn how to shuck and prepare scallops with Chef Nancy, as you all work together to prepare a family-style seafood feast with all of the trimmings
  • Seafood Dinner on last evening

You will be encouraged and supported to move at your own pace, and take in as much of the week as you desire, as all activities are optional.

Your retreat includes all meals, including hot breakfast daily and snacks.

Lodging is based on double occupancy in our comfortable, spacious rooms located in Anderson House, Upper Campus. All rooms have private en suites. Please note: there are no televisions in the rooms- you’ll be connecting with each other and with the natural beauty that surrounds you. However, we do have wireless internet.
