A hands-on introduction to marine biology and Bay of Fundy.
A fun hands-on introduction to marine biology and Bay of Fundy research projects. Participants will assist with the collection of
baseline data for a number of on-going projects and have an opportunity to work alongside Huntsman scientists. The different
research techniques and methods that you will learn about should be transferable to your school work.
It is not always serious stuff!
Participants will learn about:
* invertebrate biodiversity
* marine ecosystems
* planktonic communities
* invasive species, such as green crabs and tunicates
* and more
Cost: $650 – if you register before May 10th; Regular Fee $695
Fee includes: four night dormitory accommodation, all meals from Monday supper to Friday lunch, boat and lab fees,
aquarium admissions and taxes.
