Reporting to the Executive Director and working with the senior management and governance team, the Development Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, implementation, and support of activities at the Huntsman relating to marketing, communication, business development, and donor relations. This work is targeted to the development, updating and delivery of a fully integrated business strategy for the Huntsman.
Duties of this position may include, but are not limited to:
Working closely with senior management team, assist in meeting corporate and departmental objectives by providing appropriate marketing, communication, and development tools.
Implement and maintain social media and email campaigns, including working with the management team on preparation of content.
Produce the Huntsman annual report as well as a series of newsletters.
Prepare proposals, or assist department managers to prepare proposals for foundations and/or other philanthropic organizations.
Create and maintain advertising and promotional materials for suitable for print, radio, television, and internet media and formats.
Aid in promoting brand initiatives consistent with corporate business goals and objectives.
Track and manage donor relations through database and other tools.
Coordinate events for donor cultivation and donor relations and departmental office activities.
Provide administrative functions in support of the above.
Qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to:
A degree, certificate, or demonstrated experience in business development, donor relations, marketing, and/or communications.
Proficient use of various office based software including Microsoft Office, as well as graphic design and publishing software
Proficient use of social media, email, and web software and tools.
Confident, driven and dynamic individual.
